PORT KLANG RESIDENTS WILL NOT BE NEGLECTED:
MENTERI BESAR SHAH ALAM: The State Government assures the welfare of the people in Port Klang will not be affected following assemblyman Badrul Hisham Abdullah’s decision to quit Parti KeAdilan Rakyat.Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid said that a team will be formed to represent the state at the constituency to ensure that the residents are properly served.“Our concern is the people.
We had advised him to quit from his position as an assemblyman because he has become a burden to the people,” said Tan Sri Abdul Khalid. The Menteri Besar also reiterated that the state government cannot tolerate incompetent and irresponsible leaders as they will seriously undermine its efforts to improve the rakyat economic and social lives.
The State leaders at all level have exhausted all avenues to contact Badrul Hisham following complaints from residents that he has not been serving his constituents. A show cause letter was issued on dated August 20, 2009 and the assemblyman replied that he was willing to meet party leaders to improve his work. However he continued to be evasive in meeting state and party leaders, refused to answer calls or SMS and has not re-opened his service centre for the people in Port Klang.
